Hello

Hey everyone,
Well in a sense, no one,
I am bored....
I have been writing a lot but want to take a break.
Maybe I will watch some dramas...

Enjoy this excerpt from my current project, The Enmity of Nobody:

I opened my eyes. Where was I? I was staring up at a sterile white ceiling. The room around me was the same white. The room smelled of medicine and blood. Ugh... Lots of blood. My head was spinning quiet tales about where I was. I weaved through its ideas until I came to the answer. A hospital. Oh great, just what I need. More stinking attention from my parents and the media. Like I need some reporter talking to my mother about the tragedy of my injuries or sickness or whatever. My mom was an actress and my father was a singer. My dad died early leaving us with a fortune and causing all the reporters to mob my mother and I with condolences, questions, and trying to make a scandal.
"I know it's terrible that she got so hurt!" I heard someone say. My mother walked into the room talking on her phone–definitely to a reporter. "Ah, I need to go," she said, "Nythi just woke up!" I hated it when she called my Nythi. It made me feel like my real name wasn't good enough.
"Hey mom," I said, using the word mom loosely. It isn't like the women ever mothered me.
"Shut up," she said snapping shut the phone, "God! What have you done?!"
"Gotten my self in a ridiculously expensive hospital with gross green jello," I replied nodding toward the offending substance on the table next to my bed.
